Soon, my child. When it is time.
I grow faint of the cold. I am crushed as the frost. Hear my cry, O Lord. Relieve me of this suffering.
I am here. Take my hand.
I can not, Lord.
My heart dwells in the dead of night. Raging winds pursue me. My soul thirsts beneath layers of frozen pain. Help me! I long to feel – to live. I cannot move!
My child, it is but for a season. Look up! The Sun shines!
I do not see Its light – I do not feel Its warmth. Where is It?
Behind clouds of doubt – in the shadow of your tears. I am here…always
Help me Lord. I can not……
Be still my child. Rest now in the silence of this time. I will reach you – do not fear. I will touch your heart, so it hears mine. I will cover you, with the Light of My love until you bloom once again. Your branches will be stronger, your blossoms sweeter. Your heart ablaze with praise!
I grow faint of the cold. I am crushed as the frost…….
Shhhhh, my child. Shhhhh. Sleep now and rest, as I hold your hand, as you breathe My Presence, as life renews – I am here. Be still…. and know….
Shhhhh…..shhhhhh…..I love you…I love you.
Listen now to My voice,
Hear My Words,
As you rest upon My heart,
As I stroke your brow.
‘Do not fear,
I am with you,
I am your strength,
I will help you – I will hold you.’
Lord……?
Shhhhh, my child. Shhhhh. Sleep now my precious one, as you rest upon My heart, as I stroke your brow – as you breathe My Presence.
Be still…. and know…. I am here.

but heartfelt...
so I like it. :)
And I agree - winter was all through it!
This was exactly what I needed to hear - what so many of us need to hear in the winters of our lives. Thank you for reminding us of God's love and reassurance even when we are fighting or questioning it.
This really touched me. And that's what it's all about, right? Thank you.
