And built the man of clay.
A lifeless mound of dirt,
Now at His feet did lay.
It had two good legs,
But was not able to walk.
Perfectly formed lips,
But was not able to talk.
The nose was sitting there,
A nostril on either side,
But no breath had entered,
And gone to the inner side.
God had said His image,
Within this man would be,
But this had not yet come,
That was plain to see.
The Ancient One bent down,
And as He expired it began,
The Breath of Life, Himself,
Now entered into man.
It was the Breath alone,
A wonderful mystery,
That gave man his life,
And began our history.
The Breath, Himself alone,
What did it contain?
It contained the very essence,
Of Yahweh and His Name.
His Character, His Word,
Was now ours to have,
But Adam became a fool,
And chose a different path.
He wanted to be himself,
And chose a spiritual death,
And for all of mankind,
He surrendered up the Breath.
Man became nothing more,
Than a lifeless pile of dirt,
That walked on two legs,
But now knew loss and hurt.
We died when Adam expired,
The character of Yahweh;
He breathed out, breathed in
And went his own way.
The Ancient One bent down,
And brought Himself to earth,
The Breath had to return,
Man needed a rebirth.
But man still wants to go,
About things his own way,
It hasn't really changed,
Since Adam and his day.
So they put Him on a Cross,
They put Him to His death.
But when Yeshua expired,
He gave me back the Breath.
