As a new comer to freelance writing, I found that stimulating my own enthusiasm is best done in simple steps so I don’t get too overwhelmed. With simple steps you begin to see instant success which makes the task of writing and all of its ups and downs a pleasure.
Have a positive outlook is a simple step that we can use to pull ourselves out of any discouraging situation. Enthusiasm thrives when it's fed positive thoughts. Hardships and challenges are a part of our lives. All through the scriptures we read of how God's people often had to overcome insurmountable difficulties with only their faith. His advice hasn’t changed, don’t grow weary in well doing for in due season you will reap a reward. We are to keep our eyes on God and think thoughts that will build us up. Tell yourself at least once a day or more that as writers we are gifted with, tenacity, which keeps us going forward no matter what we come against, Imagination, which gives our words life and transforms our readers to other places and times, and ambition, to set goals, to see our futures and to continually strive to get there. Thinking these positive thoughts each day goes towards building us into strong and confident authors and writers.
Set goals and take active steps towards them. A good idea is to begin a daily “what has been my positive action today” book or diary entry. Recognising and recording your steps of progress however small is a very powerful way to stimulate your self esteem and keep you wanting more. Keeping busy is also a great way to build yourselves up. Give yourself permission to do something out of the ordinary. For me I decided to find out how many old churches are in my local CBD and what denominations they are. Although this project is totally irrelevant to what I am writing about, I gained invaluable research experience, and thoroughly enjoyed the process. Goals always help to keep the writers minds on one thing and one thing only to be successful happy and , fulfilled.
Seek out all opportunities which will help you to learn, this one is a very simple step indeed but has a great impact on our writing life. The best way to keep up to date with what the current trends in your genre are is through reading. Writer’s web sites, book selling sites all have up to date information on what is happening and where it is happening. Writer’s magazines are also full of the latest software that is available and what it can do for you. Today there are so many gadgets for writers coming onto the market that researching them is a project in itself for many of us.
And when you just can’t do anything more, at the end of a long day take a moment to simply sit and envision yourself being where you want to be, in the office or writing den of your dreams, busy with a schedule that keeps bills paid and you exceedingly happy. Purely fantasy and purely future, this detailed thinking helps us to relax and know that right now we may be feeling weary and struggling to find the ideas or write down the words in a logical order from the chaos that is currently muddled up in our heads, but one day, if we work hard and keep our minds focused on doing good we will get to our chosen destination.

My favorite bit of advice: remind ourselves we are gifted with tenacity...
This was a great reminder that we need constant refreshing and encouragement in our daily routine.
Nice job!
I noticed just a few little things. First, in the title there should be an apostrophe s in writer's. I also noticed that you used the same word or phrases several times. It had been suggested to me once to try and challenge myself to write on topic without using the topic word. It made a huge difference in my writing and I found myself eager to look for great action words.
You did definitely get the topic. you also gave some great advice. To a non-writer, it may seem simple, but we really know how difficult and overwhelming writing can be.
