I LOVED it!! Perfect fit for the topic. You wrapped in several elements of types of predicaments many Christians find themselves in these days. Many people will be able to relate. I especially loved the end. I could just picture the M/C at the balcony, in the middle of the mall, communing with God and coming to a momentous decision. Excellent writing!
I enjoyed this. The conflict was riveting and it does seem like people are afraid of all of the wrong things.

Wow! I really like this. It seems I've read it somewhere before though, or perhaps it's similar to one I read. Good writing! God bless!

An engaging story that pulled me in from the very beginning. I enjoyed Mandy's journey and the subtle, yet meaningful, way you explored her world. This is wonderful writing. Blessings!

An interesting plot and enjoyable read. It is unimaginable to think of Christmas without Christ, the reason for the season. Your MC has made a wise decision to leave Babylon. Excellent piece of writing! God bless.

This story resonated with me. Reminds me of what I've experienced in my kids' school, and recently, at a Christmas parade.

Anyway, loved the tone, the message, the plot.

My only comment, and this is a personal preference, is to spell out numbers when you can, like "two-hundred-year-old oak, and three-foot cord. Again, this is a personal preference, I can't even remember where I picked it up--some article years ago--and I have no idea how others stand on this issue.

Congratulations for placing 8th in level 3!
