In our current world, “The Inner Person” is widely looked over. For many reasons, this over looking manner has been an act. From generation to generation, people have not given ‘The Inner Person” its deserved attention.
All our lives, we have given great care to things that are second to none. We have anointed our sores with peroxide, and stuck Band-Aids upon it. Even in our homes, we continually sweep, mop, and wax the floors. We quickly take our broken electronics to the repair shop, but we never consider taking “The Inner Person” to get a fix. We praise tangible things highly. Who cares about “The Inner Person”?
Everyone is relying upon the outer person to do so much. While this is at attention, “The inner person is continually neglected”. All day every day, the outer person gets its attention. We put soap and water on this outer person, and believe all the filth is washed off. We buy the most expensive cologne or perform. Then we spray fragrances on the body, and believe it has a pure smell.
When man was given dominium upon the earth, the earth began its sufferings. Before all things began to suffer, man was pure before God. God spoke to Adam’s perfect inner person, and told him what to do.
By a creative act, Adam became a friend, and a son of God. God breathed into Adam’s inner person, and Adam became a living man.
Jesus said, “I am the life”. When God blew life into Adam, he blew His son Jesus into Adam’s bosom. Now that Adam has life, he now has Jesus living inside his inner person. The inner person Adam now has, can also be called, “The Holy Spirit” or “The Holy One of Israel”.
In order for people to have a relationship with God, they must receive Jesus inside their inner person. Ever person on earth is born with a sinful nature, which makes “Ihe Inner Person” unrighteous before God. Before Jesus abides inside any man, he first purges the person’s inner person.
One day God forgave me of all my sins. When that was done, “The Inner Person” in me was made into a new creature. My inner person was filthy as all wretchedness, but it is now washed cleaned. My inner person now has the signature J.E.S.U.S. in it written in blood.
Well, I have a confession to make. One day, I backslide from the church. When I did that, my living became active in all 17 Works of the Flesh. My inner person took me back to the land of Egypt. It was horrible in Egypt. By the mercy and grace of God, my Inner Person is back on the right track again.
People fail to realize how needful it is to have a clean inner person. The inner person is the guide for every man’s life. If you get your inner person cleansed, you can eat from the “Tree of Life”.
