So, I lied...
Hello out there, Sierra here.
Okay, so I lied to everyone out there who is reading my blog. I assumed that since my folks were shipping me off to some backwater piece of the country, I wouldn’t have net access. Well, guess again...I’m here. On some decrepit computer with the slowest dial up on the planet, but I’m here...
I miss everyone out there like crazy, but Gram isn’t very bad, considering her religious fanaticism. I’d almost say that she was cool.
Almost.
We’ve been doing a lot of talking—okay, arguing lately. Mostly about Jarrod; she agrees with my parents, for once. I don’t know what happened way back when...but I’m gonna find out, one way or another.
Well, until next time, this is Sierra signing off.
Mystery is in the air
Hello out there, Sierra here.
Well, I’m back. Gram is well and all that jazz. I caught her crying while she was cradling a photo album. I had forgotten how thick her accent was—until she started to speak. Gram was babbling on about her lost baby and some sort of curse.
I don’t believe in curses; way too old world for me.
Anyways, Jarrod, if you are reading this, please send me an email. We need to talk, really, its important!
*sighs*
Until next time, this is Sierra signing off.
Mystery solved
Hello out there, Sierra here.
I finally figured out what Gram was talking about today. I found pictures of her my age and pregnant. Suddenly, everything makes sense. The arguments that my dad has with her, the never ending bitter feelings… everything!
Dad always said that he was her oldest, but they never spoke. He never referred to Grandpa as ‘dad’ and for that matter, never referred to Gram as ‘mom.’
Who would have thought that he had been given up for adoption and found her again later? Anyways, long story short, cause she didn’t want anything to do with him growing up, he didn’t want anything to do with her...
I guess the only reason why I’m here now, is cause, well, dad doesn’t want me making the same mistakes that Gram made.
Anyways, needless to say, I think he’s a little late…
Any ways, until next time, this is Sierra signing off.
Private Setting—I am really scared...
I’m not Daddy’s little girl anymore. Jarrod was the only one who knows why. For now I don’t know what daddy is going to think.
He hasn’t answered any emails or any of my requests for him to email me. This can’t be happening...
I’m only 16.
Maybe I should tell Gram. She would know what to do...
Untitled
Hello out there, Sierra and Emma here.
That’s right. I’m still at Gram’s house, but she’s helping me learn how to take care of my little girl. She is such a blessing, worth the nine months of being uncomfortable...not that I want to go through this again any time soon.
I’ll be sure to post pictures of Emma soon. I need to go, Emma is hungry and well, what she wants, she gets, for right now...
Until next time, this is Sierra and Emma signing off.
