Somewhere-there's persecution taking place today;
A Christian soldier paying for the privilege to pray.
In that barred room where only darkening shadows grow
There is no way for a forgotten soul to know;
Whether light of a new day will ever greet his eyes,
Or whether he might die this night and be in Paradise.
As waiting in a desolate cell he softly starts to sing,
"Amazing grace how sweet the sound" and "You are my King!"
Somewhere-a woman wears a veil to hide her face
As quietly she tells the Arab women of God's grace.
Outside a mosque, near, where another god is served;
There, she'll give her life to make the Gospel story heard.
When no tomorrows she has left, she nobly will have braved
A cruel and merciless-unjust death-to see a Muslim saved.
So looking up, with supernatural faith, she'll face the squad.
Then when a single shot rings out, she'll fall and go to God.
Somewhere-while moving through the jungle wild and damp
An unknown tribe of cannibals will stumble on a camp.
In that dark place where Christ's love has not yet reached;
There, a captive man will, with his fearful eyes, beseech.
As he's feels his body sacrificed for just a meal of bread,
He'll bow his head and ask that his murderers be fed;
Not only with the pieces of his body, torn apart,
But with the love of Christ that shines forth from his martyred heart.
Somewhere-they're places still, where free men go to meet.
And heartfelt praise is offered up with voices, hands, and feet.
In those jubilant settings where men worship without fear;
There, a man won't brace to die a martyr's death, or hear,
Screams of his loved ones who become a sacrifice
As, knowingly, they give their lives to preach eternal life.
For when the missionary hears and heeds the Master's call
He knows that in the very end, He may just give It all.
