I may think I got joy 'cause:

My mind is full of sugar plums and Iím dreaming of White Christmas and a Blue Hawaii and I got rhythm and I got my gal and who could ask for anything more!

No, I think that happens 'cause Iím just happy.

I may think I got joy 'cause:

Iím walkiní hand in hand with the one I love and weíre writing love letters in the sand and I know what could make me feel this way, my girl, my girl! And Iím NOT wasting away in Margurettaville and there IS a woman to blame and I know the scent of a woman.

No, I think that happens 'cause Iím in love.

I may think I got joy 'cause:

You have peel me off the ceiliní with a Teflon covered spoon. Iím gelliní with Magellon and grooviní to the moviní and Iím singiní ďI am Woman, I am Invincible!Ē in a guy way at the top of my lungs and the neighbors donít care even if I jump out the window and land on their brand new cars! So come and get me Copper! Youíll never take me alive! Top oí da world, Ma!

No, I think happens 'cause Iím just nuts.

Maybe I got joy when:

The cold wind is blowin' and Iím puffin' into the campfire of Godís love, and that one little glowing coal begins to heat up and cause sparks that will eventually start a flame which will warm me to my core and make me feel alright. Yea, it makes me feel all right.

Maybe thatís when I got real joy.

I like the humor in this piece, but it could have used some more proof-reading. There were quite a few typos in it and mispelled words... other than that, I found it very entertaining! :)

I liked the little ride down memory lane that the song lyrics took me on... twas fun!
And painted a very vivid picture of what joy is "not".
In the end you described beautifully, what joy is.
Good job! Kate~
