The quintessential aspect of Love. That is what I was aiming for. What is this thing that we clamor for? Is it that physical attraction between people? Is it your emotions running wild with you? When I think of Love, I think first of the Saviors love who died for me on the cross. What it must of taken. To leave glory and come to this planet. A place filled with sinners. A place with death and decay. If someone would ask you to leave your house and go to India to visit Lepers would you go? Think about it. Have you ever really seen a Leper? This disease so frightening that in Jesus time, people would flee at the sight of them. The Leper would yell aloud. L-e-p-e-r, L-e-p-e-r..Get away.

What a life that must of been. No friends, unless they had the same thing as you. No more dinners with the Owens next door. No more baseball games..No outdoor sports at all. Just lie around and wait for the disease to get worse. That is what being a Leper meant. But for me, I wasn’t a Leper. I was a plain, ordinary sinner. Someone who had a family, a wife, kids, job, and sin. It made me do things I did not want. But then, in a flash, you have hope.

Hope is that time-adjusted moment when a spark comes into your soul. You see, when I found out about the Saviors love. It created Hope in me. That was love. Love so grand it came and found me just like a Leper. Stinking, filthy, unloved, and without hope. This Savior who had Love for me and also you, is the quintessential eternal all-encompassing word. That Word is Love. He takes us, cleans us up, guides, corrects, and leads us. Then he brings us to live with him in the eternal heaven.

It is that Love pouring through us that brings it full circle. When we then can say, yes I will go. Why would you go? It is so far away. It is dangerous there. You could lose your life. What about the family, you will miss them. Why are you going anyway? You turn and look at them squarely in the eye. A tear forming in one corner tells them they need to listen. As you speak, your voice soft, comforting reflects these words as you touch their hand. “I can only go, because my Savior came”. “I can only Love, because my Savior first Loved me.” “Without Him, I cannot know Love, forgiveness, nor can I ever hope.” Turning, you say “goodby”. For you, the Love poured out, takes you to that Leper to say, I Love you and God does too.

For God is Love and everyone that loveth is born of God and Knoweth God, He that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is Love. So beloved, Let us Love one another. 1 John 4:7-8 kjv

Great message. Tighten it up a little with punctuation and spelling (note must have, not must of), and it would be really good.
