A lot of times we may be over ambitious for things and it may take a descending toll on us. We just want to be in the spotlight of life forgetting about everyone and everything else including God.
Some things that we want and get aren’t even for us to have. It wasn’t in God’s will for you to have it but because of the selfishness, greed and many other words to describe it, we fail to realize it.
There are points in our lives when we believe that we are God and not a part of him. We always want to have a T.O.S (Take-over spirit) and don’t realize that God is in control of every situation. We don’t need to help him because he’s almighty and he created everything that exists, yet we believe we can help God handle a situation. HA!
We can never still the spotlight from God! We are simply the clay for the potter to mold, form and shape; the branches on the tree that bears fruit and helps the tree to grow. We have to learn to take our place within the kingdom of God. That’s our job to obey his word.
Don’t try and use the word of God to steal his identity. We can all put on a great show in church and in front of the pastor but what about on the job, at the mall? What about being on vacation? Even in the solitude of your home. Are you living right? We preach the Gospel for our own personal benefit but forget the principles of love, which is the law that we are under. Can’t help our own brother or sister and we want to have the identity of God? God, have mercy on our souls!
Identity theft is a serious crime in the courts of America today. If someone stole your identity, how would you feel? We steal God's identity on a daily basis but he is faithful and forgiving. What if God was like our court system today?
