No Escape

To escape from Heaven
With purpose
To descend to Earth
With guidance, direction, and love
Of Seraphim and Cherubim
Protected and delivered
With white wing swiftness
By Angel and Archangel
To be born

To escape
The seven sins
Of
Pride, avarice, envy, wrath
Lust, gluttony, sloth
Through the seven ages of man
As we walk our walk
Of discovery and growth
Physical and spiritual
Exercising our free will
Through our allotted time
And framework
To discover there
Is
No escaping Godís love

To embrace this knowledge and love
To share this knowledge and love
That others may escape
The Earth that binds

And to
Escape from Earth
In proper time
To be carried aloft into the light
By Angel and Archangel
To be held in love with shared
Wisdom, guidance, and direction
By Seraphim and Cherubim
To enter Heaven as a child
To become one in a universe of love
Of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
As born again

I like all these different "takes" on escape! Thanks for this unique poem!

I suspect that the title is a typo? Did you mean it to be "To Escape?"

Other than that tiny quibble, there's lovely poetic language here. Thanks!
