The Blood of the Vine

This is my blood
All the liquid of nature
Pulled from the Earth
And up through the vine
To the bountiful fruit
Pressed into the cup to
Do this in remembrance of Me.

This is my body
All the bounty of nature
Pulled from the Earth
And up through the plants
To the bountiful harvest
Pressed into the bread to
Do this in remembrance of Me.

This is my body and this is my blood
Pulled from the Earth
And returned to the Earth
From the cross on the hill
And I and my body
And I and my blood
And I and my I
Became one with the Earth
Where I am now
One with you
I am.

Do this in remembrance of Me.

Partake of the vine
Partake of the field
For I am with you always
To the end of time
To the end of the Earth
Until we are
In fellowship
Together
With the Father.

Absolutely spectacular. I'd love to have this as a bulletin insert on Communion Sunday. It's breath-taking.

Ooooh I loved the first two stanzas...I just don't understand,
...I
Became one with the Earth
Where I am now...

Christ didn't did He, I mean become earthdust again as we do? Perhaps I misunderstood...but the rest was delightful...you deserve a better response than this.

A poetic way to describe the Communion Service...at least that is my take on this gem. Nicely written. Kudos!

Very, very good.
This works! :D
