the kids are just a gnarly crew.
I been working days on end;
sleep is now my distant friend.
All the bills are growing fast –
at my wits end, I cannot last.
Everything is spinning 'round
as I crumble to the ground.
Where should I go? what should I do
to stop the pain I'm going through?
Then came a smile upon my face;
I found an answer I could embrace.
God had left me have my way,
no debts to owe, no price to pay.
The sins gathered up so fast.
if it continues, my life won't last.
The Father finds me where I hide
He breaks me of my foolish pride.
Now I see the gifts I waste
in my life, this bitter place.
An incense's fragrance lifts my prayers
I confess for I feel He 's there.
“You know I've been waiting, I'm at my wit's end,
I'm glad you came home, welcome my friend.”
A warmth in my heart started to grow
His forgiveness has made me whiter than snow.
He's picked me up shown me the way
He even listens when I pray.
God has been leaving me guideposts
in His Son, and Holy Ghost.
With love He's shown me He's my friend
Even pulled me back from my wit's end.
