Healing the breach
torn by sinís hateful gain,
Jesus stands in the gap,
grasps our ravaged frayed ends
With His outstretched Hands
still nailed to His cross,
joyously returning us
to His Father again.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

In one hand He holds
the perfection of grace,
knowing our pain
while beholding Godís Face.
His other hand holding
our sin-scarlet threads,
while pleading with us
to again seek His place.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

We decry poverty,
too proud to beg bread,
Not knowing that Jesus,
Who gives us His Life . . .
Prays for us, beseeching
before we are dead,
to accept His great Heart,
to be His own wife.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

The circle enclosing
our Father and me
Was broken by my
choosing sin over Him.
Straining, the tension
snapping the thread
That united our hearts,
that thread far too thin.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
recreating His circle, making ends meet.

No, my sin was too great,
caused such foul division
Try hard as I might,
I could not reconcile
I strained to obey,
but fell short every instance,
I needed a Savior
to rescue this child.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

Do idols entice me?
Drawn like a magnet
I give sinís witty inventions
All too worldly and stagnant
Too much attention,
I so quickly forget
My Life, my Love,
my Saviorís intentions.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

Jesus gently engulfs me,
whispering undying love
Breaks my sin frozen heart,
Melting me with
His great love instead
He promises Life
beyond Heaven above,
From sinner to saint
when Iím Spirit-fed.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

My competitive nature
so eager to flare
He has found me and makes me
swallow my pride,
And give up myself
to He Who does care.
Repenting, returned
to my Wondrous Guide

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

Father, dear Father,
Brought back by Your love
When obeying commands
our stubborn hearts failed,
You sent us Your Son
from Heaven above
And upon Him
were our agonies nailed.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

I imagine His smile, as He,
pinned to His cross,
Shouts His victory
over sinís evil pain,
Healing the breach,
our grief and our loss
Allowing cleansed hearts
to taste Heaven again.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

Come, grab my hand,
walk there with me,
Far from Satanís cruel hold
To Calvaryís tree,
United forever,
Planned aeons ago,
No sin, all forgiveness
To Godís victory.

Jesus, Godís glue that binds the breach,
Recreating His circle, making ends meet.

Hallelujah and amen.

Poems aren't my strength, but I will say you told a wonderful story of how God makes ends meet.

Thanks for sharing.
