Welcome back to Human Planet, here on Mouse TV. Today on Human Planet, we have a real treat for you. We are going to attempt to observe the exotic Homo sapien in his natural habitat. We must be very quiet, or we may be spotted.

Here we observe the senior male member of the Homo sapien pack. After entering the domicile, this member will usually lounge on the couch while watching the moving window of light. This is one of the few times we can get close, as this window has a hypnotic effect on him. Grunts are the only sounds heard.

The senior female member enters. This has suddenly become a very dangerous mission, and for the safety of our crew, we must all retreat to our hole. Observe, now, as the male and female greet one another. The female leads the male away from the moving window with the promise of food, one of the few ways to break the trance. I only hope it is not a trap. Females have been known to entice the male with food, only to withhold the food until the male completes her bidding.

Of course, the male has tricks of his own. He can be selectively deaf and mute, responding only to the moving window and other males of neighboring packs, while completely ignoring all females and young, infuriating the female to the point of surrender.

The female communicates with the male, as she carries her infant male. The young are utterly defenseless at this age, and must be constantly watched. Here we observe the hand off between female and male, as the male takes care of the needs of his young. A great stench fills the air, as the male removes a sack from the young. Why they have this strange ritual and appear to store waste products is a mystery.

Next we see the adolescent male enter. He is beginning to grow facial hair, and starting to resemble the senior male. This can be an awkward transition at times, and tension can be felt between the adolescent and the other members of the pack. He frequently isolates himself, and has been known to become hostile when others approach him. Occasionally, the senior members of the pack will leave, allowing the adolescent male to watch the younger members. He is rewarded for his efforts with what appears to be nothing more than paper, something we as mice would simply use as a blanket on a cold night. We do not yet know what appeal this has to the adolescent male.

Observe now, as the female young enters. We must be very cautious of the female young in this pack. She has been known to make a horrendous squealing noise, while running towards us, hitting us on the head, and squeezing us. Some experts in Homo sapien behavior say this is a gesture of affection; however, many doubt this theory and further study is needed. Not, however, at our expense. We must caution you, should you ever encounter one in the wild, never make eye contact with any member of the Homo sapien species, as their behavior towards non Homo sapiens is erratic and unpredictable. Even relationships within their own species can turn violent and unpredictable. We here on Human Planet are highly trained professionals. We know the risks and are willing to take them.

This brings us to the conclusion to tonight's episode of Human Planet on Mouse TV. Join us next time, as we observe the odd behaviors of the domesticated canine. Friend or foe? Watch our report and decide for yourself. Until then, good night, stay safe, and may Mickey bless you.

Very funny write, and clever take on the topic! Such humorous perspectives the mice had of human behavior. Fun spoof of Animal Planet! Enjoyed the read!
