Then waters rose, the sinners screamed as if they’d not be warned
Our Creator was disgusted by mankind’s selfish “Oh well” ways
And still today we vacillate, holding back our words of praise
Do you think yourself invincible, a wealthy self-made man
One who needs no other, then you’d better think again
Is it Satan’s hand you hold, who tempts with cheap desires
Then it’s time to re-evaluate before your time expires
Just as eyes were blinded then and hearts grew quite depraved
History still repeats itself, the world diminishes what God gave
Jesus died that we might live, eternal life through Him, receive
Be watchful, be prepared--study the Bible’s prophecies
Joy is experienced through soul searching confessions
Repentance brings peace from every past transgression
God forgives our many sins because He loves us so
Cleansing muddied lives much like freshly fallen snow
Shh, hear the constant ticking of God’s prophetic clock
Don‘t be swept away--build upon The Rock
Christ is coming soon, and it will be a joyous day
For believers who stayed strong in a world of decay
The time for your planting and sowing is no more
God has determined each and every score
Blessed are those who shall not die, but live eternally
They sorrowed over sin and surrendered unto Thee
Revelation 21:3-4 (NLT) . . . “Look the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. . . .He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or dying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever.”
