Hovering over horizon
Talons fused into focusing eyes
Raptor-ous fliers take swooping dives

Majestic fierceness
Sailing aloft on currents of froth
Speeds that defy what is commonly thought

Stirring softly unaware below
Life abounds preternaturally slow
Nature prevails as prey violently dies

A production of contrast
As victor meets vanquished
Mighty meets weak as realms interclash

Meanwhile…

Hum of a thousand beats
Dervishly thrumming whirl of wings
Tiny sugar factories unceasingly spin

Twirling plush nests
Stringed hidden in spidery branches
Babies safely hatch within human protection

Glibly adored
Nature pristine in awfulness glory
Adorned in blood violence and gore

Faithfully ruled with loving care
Subdued and restored with tranquil hand
Created to travel alongside man

A Sonora Desert museum
Tucson Arizona treasure
Displaying shows both bold and sublime

Owl Falcon RedHawk startling alive
A family of Harris Hawks suddenly dives
Trained to demonstrate the thrill of the hunt

While Hummingbird habitat quietly thrives
Where spirited away from preying eyes
They flutter in peace on their sheltered stage

Beautiful exquisite description. Yours words portray a vividly clear picture of these varied 'fowls of the air'. Amazing.
