Can you hear it?
Drip, drip, dripó
The leaking kitchen faucet,
Dripping, dripping, dripping
Drops of water to ping
In the porcelain sink?
Annoying, destructive to your peace.

Can you taste it?
Drip, drip, dripó
The ice cream cone,
Dripping, dripping, dripping
Drops of melting confection
To catch with a lick?
Sweetness on the tongue.

Can you feel them?
Drip, drip, dripó
Tears from your eyes,
Dripping, dripping, dripping
Drops of joy or sorrow
That roll down your cheeks?
Unbidden release of emotion.

Can you see them?
Drip, drip, dripó
Rays of sunshine,
Dripping, dripping, dripping
Through the canopied leaves
To make patterns on the earth.
Beautiful reflections.

Can you smell it?
Drip, drip, dripó
Percolator on the counter,
Dripping, dripping, dripping
Rich bold coffee
Into the carafe below?
Jump-start for the day.

Can you sense it?
Drip, drip, dripó
Grace from God above,
Dripping, dripping, dripping
Wonderful blessings
Into your heart and life?
Unmerited favor.

I'm so impressed with the way you used each of the five senses, relating to different "drips." That coffee one really got to me. :) And I LOVE the final stanza, God's grace and blessings, "unmerited favor" indeed! Your words are uplifting.

Lovely use of all the senses in painting this poetic picture. Wonderful!
