In the emptiness of the garden
I wander all around.
Trying to find my way back
but not making ground.

The sin that is within me
is eating at my core.
Makes my life feel useless
don't know what it's for.

It seems no matter what,
things aren't meant to be.
No matter how hard I try
I'm held in this fantasy.

I look around once more
to see what I can find.
Attacked by the evilness
that's making me so blind.

Trapped within this chair
a weight crushes me down.
Squeezing out what life I have
what's left, a funeral mound.

Is there anyone around
to help me find my way?
If I'm to find an answer
I must kneel down and pray.

Bind us together Lord.
make the cords real tight.
Gather angels all around me
make me feel alright.

Let me know You hear me
that me words are not in vain.
Lord let me feel Your presence
let me hear You call my name.

Bind my feeble spirit
to the All that's You.
The salvation You have given me
shows me Your love is true.

Faith, that is the power
that will help us blend.
It will continue on forever
knowing it has no end.

The love You always give
is the tie that binds.
I finally feel like coming home
I've found a peace of mind.

Thank You, You've stopped the evil
bound it and loosed what's free.
You've shown me I am not alone
You're always here with me.

Great thoughts! I like how it progressed from hopelessness to peacefulness. Well written!
