Blossom, my rose,
As your tiny leaf unravels,
Unwind your tender greens,
Reveal your precious petals.

Blossom, my wildflower,
Array your colors of heaven,
You have a special gift,
Your wildness is God given.

Blossom, my soul,
In sunlight of tomorrow,
Leaves of gold bring peace,
Shedding pain and sorrow.

Blossom, my heart,
Ease your ache at last,
Let loose your bindings,
Release the lonely past.

Blossom, my spirit,
Spread your broken wings,
Accept Godís healing love,
Allow your joy to sing.

Blossom, my sinner,
Render your confessions,
Seek Christ to be your gardener,
To weed out all transgressions.

Blossom, my saint,
Glow your sinless light,
Raise your head to Him,
Pray for all tonight.

Blossom, my brother,
Arise from the dark,
Grow the stem of God,
In branches of your heart.

Blossom, my sister,
Let salvation come from rain,
Reach towards redemption,
You are meant to live again.

Blossom, my love.
Unsheathe your secrecy,
Come out into sun,
Unveil your mysteryÖ

Blossom, my rose,
On Godís trellis once more,
Be His flower on the vine,
Climbing heavenís door.

Beautiful!

Absolutely lovely. I felt a great peace in reading this. An economy of words, yet a profusion of beauty. And meaning.
Melanie Kerr 11/30/12
Lovely evocative poem.

Simply lovely in meter and flow. You did a great job covering the topic with well crafted verses that tickled my tongue.

Love both the flow of this and the message it tells. How you format it to look so nice is bit of a mystery to me - but you've done a wonderful job!

This is stunning. I'm not always big on poems as I often feel like they are over my head but your words were beautiful and soothing. The part about forgetting the lonely past gave me goose bumps as it felt like you were looking inside my soul. My favorite verse was the one with the sister. I often feel like I'm alone with my feelings and fear to fully live life but your words show that you know similar feelings like the ones that bang and bump into my own heart. This is an awesome piece in so many different ways. Love it!!
