I hear a lot on T.V. ‘bout
What God can do for me.
And how His many blessings are
The things that I should seek.
A dam bursting with bounty is
A simple prayer away;
A sunshine shower
Every hour
Forecast for today.
God is good, God is love;
God is my best friend.
No doubt it’s true,
Loves me, loves you,
With a love that never ends.
However…
Jesus said a blessing is
Something that I should be.
That I should need not worry ‘bout
The things that I will need.
Put others in the line, in front,
Of anything I want.
Make sure my brother
And all others,
Have more than I have got.
If I do, I know I'll have
All I need and more;
And what I lose
Along the way
Will one day be restored.
I must be His heart, His arms;
I must be His face.
Become what I need the most;
Become hands of grace.
