What color is the sky in Heaven
The living background of Your throne
Does Your Bible have ears to hear us
When we sing and praise or moan?

What fuel feeds the Lake of Fire
To keep it burning eternally?
How do Heaven's angels celebrate
When a soul is at last set free?

Who is going to cook for us
At the Marriage Supper of the Lamb?
Why, oh, why, did I take so long
To respond to the Great I AM?

The sky behind the Heavenly throne
Is the color of loving victory.
The Bible is the Word written down
HE hears us diligently.

Holy justice feeds the Lake of Fire
It's a fuel that won't run out.
Angelic beings celebrate continuously
With praises, worship and joyful shout!

At the Marriage Supper we'll be fed
From the King's garden and pantry.
I waited so long, my willfulness
Blinded me and I really WOULDN'T see.

Praise God for all His patient love
Which never gave up on me,
Thank the Lord for sacrificing His Son
Who paid my price and set me free!!

A very nicely crafted piece that was very much on topic. I liked the paced and tempo of the verses and that the questions asked early were answered late in the poem. Good writing!
