I'm so weary, Lord,
Aiming for perfection.
I can't do it alone.

"Cease striving and know
I am God."

I'm so weary, Lord.
All around the world
Your children cry out.

"Be still and know
I am God."

I'm so weary, Lord
Of so many trials
How can I make it?

"Cease striving and know
I am God."

I'm so weary, Lord.
My friends are struggling.
Prayers seem unanswered.

"Be still and know
I am God."

I'm so weary, Lord.
The valley of despair
Seem to be endless.

"Cease striving and know
I am God."

I'm so weary, Lord.
The worries of life
Overshadow me.

"Be still and know
I am God."

I'm so weary, Lord.
Running the race of life
The trials are hard.

"Cease striving and know
I am God."

I'm so weary, Lord.
I just want to give up
But I still press on.

"Be still and know
I am God."

"Cast your cares on Me,
Because I care for You."

I will cease striving and know
You are God.

Nicely done! It is simple, elegant and perfectly on-topic. Love the scripture references and the ending. Great job!

Awesome message. Nice job. So many of these go right together. Interwoven. You would think we all sat at a table together throwing out ideas. <3

This is so lovely. It flows smoothly and lulls me into a state of calmness.

Well written and gives cause for pause.
