Costing His sinless life
On the cross where Christ did take
Sin and death for all mankind
To redeem manís sinful state.

Abundant is His love when we
Believe deep within our hearts
Unto Christ when bonded with
Nothing can ever separate.
Devote your heart to Him
And transformation you will see -
Newness from God youíll understand
Transferred Spirit into your being.

Fortunes outlined in His Word
Of many promises and heeds,
Reminding us Heís always there
To help us in times of need;
Understanding, loving, guiding
Never to ignore or to reject - for
Eternityís all aspects of time
So He knows all: then, now and more.

Treasure in Heaven is promised - and
Redeemed when we get there;
Eternity with God and Jesus
After last breath of earthly air.
So wonderful it will to be
Up in Heaven with our Lord - and
Renewed always in spirit-body - as
Expressed - Godís Holy Word.

God gave His only Son - where
On the cross He died and took
Lies and sin and also conquered
Death for mankind forevermore.

Psalm 119:14 ďI rejoice in following your great statutes as one rejoices in great riches.Ē NIV

Rejoice in the Lord!
In Him you will find strength;
Christís promises are bountiful -
He gives them only to His blessed.

Bold words that speak the truth of the promises of the cross.

I'm a big fan of acrostic poems. I once tried to get a gaggle of Girl Scouts to get excited about them during a camping trip in the desert, but I had to compete with 40mph winds, snakes, lizards, and disorderly chipmunks. I lost.

Your acrostic poem is lovely, and I felt the emotion deeply.

This is a beautiful reminder that our true riches will be received in heaven. Oh what a day that will be!

This is very clever, with sound truth and an uplifting tone. Thanks for writing it.

A well written poem with a clear affirmation of what it means to store up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:20). Nicely done!
