So they'd starve if they stayed in the city and they'd be killed if they went to the enemy's camp. Instead of sitting round waiting to die, they decided to do something. After all, the worse that could happen is that they'd die and that was gonna happen anyway. But them lepers ended up living and saving their nation too. See how God work when we got faith.

Yep, it's a lot to learn from this ole Bible. Better to do something than nothing. People with faith, do something besides sitting around waiting for nothing to happen. They take chances. They go somewhere. Sometimes, they be dead wrong. But lease they tried. And from that their mistake, they learn. And the ones wit guts and determination, they the ones that try again and again till they get something great accomplished.

Yep, I reckon I be one of them great ones. I ain't given up. I got a lot to live for. It's a good thing, I got this here Bible with me. It's my life source. I ain't gonna just sit round here and hope someone rescues me. I'm gonna make use of this time. I gots some prayin to do.

Gotta pray for my Grandson to keep a good head on his shoulders and stay away from the wrong crowd. For my son in law's healing and restoration from cancer. My daughter needs to sell out to Christ. There's a whole list of family and friends and their needs. And there's so many things in the world to pray about. And so many lost folk that need to be saved. I'm praying God, you grant me more days to reach the many lost that need to be saved. And to be a help to more people. Yep, there's a whole lot to keep me busy praying.

And I gotta lot to be thankful for too. Though my foot's numb and I can't really move much, this car sure got comfortable seats. Got my Bible here in my purse beside me and I ain't in that much pain. Must be God's grace. I know someone will find me soon. I'll just keep beeping my horn every now and then as I pray. Them roads were so slippery and wet, I just went right over the edge. I must've been driven to fast for all this rain. And how I survived that fall in my car, I don't know. Just let's me know I got Your angels all about me. My God, you are good. Hallelujah. Thank You Jesus. I reckon, I just sing, worship and pray, till someone find me or I enter Your presence. Yes, let me sing and get started with prayer. I done preached enough to myself.

I will enter your gates with thanksgiving in my heart.
I will enter your courts with praise. I will say this is the day,
that You Lord have made.
I will rejoice for you have made me glad.
You have made me glad,
oh you have made me glad.
I will rejoice for you have made me glad...

This is beautiful. I didn't expect the ending. I felt at times like you have been peeking in my head and stealing some of my thoughts. Thanks for reminding me that God is always here.

This was ... amazing! I appreciate the tone and dialect chosen. IT gave the story an overall down home and rural wisdom feel - felt like I was sitting and talking with my grand mother, learning for her wisdom and experience.

The MC's perspective is so empowering. The mindset regarding anything that comes our way was just so refreshing. I really enjoyed this work SO very much!

Regardless the situation, God is in control. This message is put across in your story very well. Nicely written.
