Iíve worked as a gardener,
Tending the soil of your heart,
Watching with joy
As life flourished
And your flowers blossomed
Under my tender care.
It was always my deepest desire
To bring you sunshine,
And see it light up your face
With a smile.

But even the best of farmers
Canít keep away the drought;
When the dust storms come
My heart aches as I watch
And know Iím not strong enough
To fix your pain.

I wish I was a superhero
Who could direct the winds
Into different channels;
I wish I was a body builder
Who could smash the boulders
Strewn across your fields.
I wish I could heal each scar
With a single touch,
But I am inadequate
To rescue you
From a single predicament.

I cannot change the world,
But I want you to know Iím here for you,
Still planting flowers
In the corner of your heart.
As I hold your hand
Through it all,
The warmth in your eyes tells me
It is enough.

This was truly touching. I loved loed it. This is the way I feel when loved ones have diffcult decisions to make. At times like that, one can only hope that they know they are loved no matter what route they take.
Thanks for the wonderful message.

Ah, lovely! Definitely shows the predicament of someone who can't keep the storms of life from hurting their friend or loved one. Reminds me of the song "I'm For You" by TobyMac.

Congrats on your high-ranking piece!
