Rejoice and be glad! Like the spring rain, the Lord comes to your dry desert and makes it new. Unlike anything before, the Lord makes you into His image. Joyful is your heart with everlasting gladness. The music of the praise of your soul comes forth at His arrival. Any dark thing in you gives up its shadows and the torch of His majesty sheds light into every corner of your being. Listen and hear every part of you reviving at His call. Your feet dance, your arms raise up, and your voice timbers with a joyful noise unto the Lord. Your hands become as strong as the most mighty of trees. Your back bends to bow before the King of kings. Your legs cause you to leap for joy at the sound of His coming. Your heart carries no fear, but is replaced with the assurance of His glory. The blind see what the ears hear as the dumb tongue confess’ His excellence. The circumstances of your life are watered from God’s presence. Like fertile ground, your life sprouts fruitfulness that are not fully consumed because of its eternal foundation. Unlike the sun falling at dusk or the moon at dawn seen no more, what the Lord gives lasts forever. Your countenance is made pure and clean before His face as the dew of the new day dawning moistens the leaf dried from the night breezes. The path beneath your feet is reserved for you, a child of the Holy One. No beast is allowed to walk upon it because it’s a highway of holiness. There is no sorrow on the day you walk there. Only joy of heart and soundness of mind prevails. Like a blooming rose, you stroll in the footsteps of the Almighty, knowing the kindness of His character in the sacrifice of Christ Jesus our Lord through soundness of faith.
