“On the surface it seems that way.” Frank squinted at the sun, rising in red glory over a grassy meadow. Strangely, the meadow was populated with various types of macaws, giving the place a shimmering, iridescent hue.
“Be careful what you say,” warned Danielle. “They arrested my mother for speaking against President Gog.”
“I heard, but the Negativity Patrol is changing shifts right now. We have a 2 minute window.”
“I heard a rumor about a new illegal SocialSite to meet.”
Danielle looked over her left shoulder, and then raised her left eyebrow twice.
“Silly, you heard that rumor from me. It’s called FaceTheBook. I know exactly where it is. We’ve got just enough time to get there. Let’s go!”
They ran through the tall grass, bouncing toward a line of palm trees.
Beyond the trees was a rocky ridge.
“Over there!” Frank pointed to a fallen palm tree. “Behind the tree there is a cave.”
In the distance, across the meadow, the foreboding whining sound of a flying Negativity Patrol Hybrid Vehicle echoed off the rocks around them.
“Hurry!”
Just as the Negativity Patrol Hybrid Vehicle sped overhead they ducked under the tree.
“They covered the entrance with palm leaves.”
“I see it—right over there.”
Frank removed a few branches. A holographic door appeared with a small, square portal near the top. Password Required flashed in the portal.
“Frank Forthwill. Password: buddysfriend45.”
“Danielle Tonhammil. Password: passthebucks30.”
“PASSWORDS ACCEPTED. ENTRANCE TO FACETHEBOOK IS GRANTED FOR FRANK AND DANIELLE.”
“STOP! Negativity Patrol requires daily scan of all guests for negative thoughts!”
Frank and Danielle froze, glancing at the Negativity Patrol Hybrid Vehicle directly overhead, then at each other. Simultaneously they shrugged their shoulders and stepped through the FaceTheBook portal.
Immediately they were confronted with ANGRY PIGS protesters. Waving large L.E.D. banners, dozens of people vehemently chanted at the FaceTheBook guests as they walked past.
“SAVE THE BIRDS! SAVE THE BIRDS!”
“What in the world are they doing here? I thought this place was peaceful.”
Frank explained. “Angry Pigs is that new game everyone is addicted to. In the game, players take on the personality and persona of an angry pig. The pigs shoot down birds as the birds try to steal the pigs’ food from the feed trackers. The more birds that are killed, the more points you get.”
“Crazy.”
“This whole place is a wee bit crazy, isn’t it?”
“You got that right.” Danielle nodded in agreement.
“We’re just in time for the morning Bible Study.”
“Awesome. In spite of the protesters, I do feel much more at ease here.”
“The Bible Study is in the LikeTheBook module, over there.”
“Frank, can I ask you a question?”
“Sure.”
“Did you ever wonder, how did we ever end up here? I mean I know we worked together back in the day, but how did we ever end up together, here?”
“God has a plan, and now we are executing it.”
“You seem so certain.”
“I am. We’ve been planning this for several years. Just the fact that FaceTheBook even exists is a miracle. This is the entrance.”
“WELCOME TO THE LIKETHEBOOK MODULE MORNING BIBLE STUDY. PLEASE STATE YOUR NAMES FOR ‘CROSS’ VERIFICATION.”
“Frank Forthwill.”
“Danielle Tonhammil.”
“THANK YOU. YOU MAY PROCEED.”
Inside the LikeTheBook module was an auditorium, designed more like a university lecture hall. Dozens of guests from around the world chatted in the entranceway, and began to take their seats.
“It looks like we’ll have to sit in the back.”
The teacher spoke up, “Good morning everyone. It’s so good to see our numbers are growing. The miracle of FaceTheBook and the LikeTheBook module continues. Today we are going to study the book of Acts, Chapter 2 where we learn the answer to the question, ‘What should we do?’”
Immediately the session was interrupted by Negativity Patrol officers.
“ARREST THEM ALL!”
The Angry Pig protestors were sent to spy and record all who entered FaceTheBook and especially the LikeTheBook module. The protesters informed the Negativity Patrol officers who launched an invasion of FaceTheBook.
“We need to leave, NOW.” Frank grabbed Danielle’s hand and they escaped through a back door. “There’s a way outta this place if we execute the escape plan. It’s risky, but we need to be saved.”
“Let’s get outta here!”
“This is it—the escape portal!”
They woke up in their real bodies, and ripped the 666Box-360 interface connectivity units off of their heads.

Cool take on the social network topic. Nice job with the 666BOX.
I could see this as a SCI-FI novel series. And in it all, there was a solid gospel message too.
Excellent job!
