Words on a monitor
May not be worth much,
But they represented
Her choice to sprout green shoots
And break free of the soil
Where she once died.

The words represented
Her choice to reach toward the sun,
To feel the winds of freedom
And taste the rains
Of life’s blessings.

Words on a monitor
May not be worth much,
But they represented
Her choice to dare the storms,
To stand up tall
Even if she might be wounded
By the elements.

The words represented
Her choice to bear the fruit
She was created to bear,
To give the world the touch
Of her heart.

Words on a monitor
May not be worth much,
But those who see
The blossoming of her soul
Stop
To smell the fragrance
And marvel in her beauty.

For all the people who have used their blogs to embrace their identity after breaking free of the chains of legalism.

Oh, I like this. Simple, but it gets the point across.

This really touched my heart. You managed to capture with few words why many search for acknowledgement. Very unique take on the topic.

Short, to the point, and powerful at once. Nicely done. God Bless~

Very skillfully succinct, especially with the power in your repetition as you opened up the theme. Loved it.
