The ocean is enchanting
To couples deep in love,
Reflecting silver moonlight
And echoes from our hearts.
But not tonight,
No, not tonight.

Tonight, I go to meet the sea
After I bid adieu
To her I love with all my heart
And watch her drift away—
With just a minute
To say goodbye.

What can one say in sixty seconds
To speak for years to come?
My words can’t vocalize a love
That’s deeper than the sea below,
A love beyond
The moon above.

Let actions speak where words cannot,
Let love be weighed by minutes:
For I will sacrifice my life
That she may live again;
I die tonight,
For her I love.

Tonight, I go to meet the sea,
The sea that has reflected
The memories that we once shared
And echoes of our love.
In just a minute
The sea that we have gazed upon
Will finally meet
The love it mirrored.
