Mom loved roses, marigolds, gladiolas, and one more---gardenias.
The fragrances all differ.
But each belong to Him.
Roses with their deep colors speaks of love.
Marigolds offer a simple flower but unique.
Galdiolas offer purity with their whiite petals.
Each have been touched by His hand.
Each offer their beauty.
How great is the Lord and His creations of flowers!
Gardenias were Mom's favorite flowers.
How they graced our home!
How the fragrance filled it.
Outside, they can be smelled from a long ways off.
It is the gardenias that made Mom smile.
Touch their petals.
Feel their texture.
Know that it was with God's hand they were made.
Know also that He has a perfect time clock.
For in His time, they will bud and flourish.
God, in His devine wisdom, knew Mom would love His gardenias.
Flowers of every color are beautiful.
However, the gardenias mean so much to me.
Pure and beautiful are they.
Plus, they will always remind me of Mom.

Touching. Don't so many of us have a special flower, that it seems God gave us a particular love for? For me, it's roses.

Flower gardens evoke memories of my plant-loving mother, too.

I especially like the praise unto God, His creation demonstrating His power yet gentleness and love to give us such beauty.
