Spring Has Sprung . . . Spring Is Done:

Crocus peeking,
Ice is leaking;
Egg is warming,
Fetus forming.

Temps are rising,
Tulips sighing;
Womb increasing,
Babe’s releasing.

Windstorms blowing,
Rains are sowing;
Toddler growing
And exploring.

Showers flooding,
Flowers budding;
Child’s striving,
Healthy thriving.

Cold appearing,
Disappearing;
Bold reforming;
Then, informing.

Storms are brewing,
Foliage strewing;
Teen-aged feuding,
Young love brooding.

Birds are singing,
Flowers clinging;
Future making
Is awak’ning.

Summer Starts . . . And Departs:

Heat is rising,
Seas inviting;
Jobs are calling,
Programs launching.

Flowers balming,
Lakes are calming;
Passion testing,
Forces vesting.

Grass is greening,
Cornfields gleaning;
Lovely wedding,
Child begetting.

Beaches shelling,
Waves are swelling;
Life appealing,
Roles revealing.

Heat waves steaming,
Foliage gleaming;
Offspring raising,
Best years blazing.

Eagles soaring,
Seagulls shoring;
Children learning
And maturing.

Sun is baking,
Lightning making;
Family bondings,
Trips absconding.

Trees are bearing
Fruity flarings;
Goals attaining,
Future training.

Fall Is Flaming . . . Fall Is Fading:

Heat is cooling,
Seasons fooling;
Empty-nesting,
Hair recessing.

Squirrels hoarding,
Wheat bales cording;
Mid-life pending,
Strength is spending.

Harvest reapings,
Willows weeping;
Clocks are humming,
Time is strumming.

Autumn’s shadings,
Leaf cascadings;
Grandkids doting,
Paces slowing.

Frosty mornings,
Snow adornings;
No more chasing,
Slower racing.

Branches baring,
Ice is glaring;
Slowed down plumbings
And succombings.

Leaves are browning,
Flowers frowning;
Age spots forming,
Toes are corning.

Critters seeking
Warmer ekeings;
Final dancing
Is advancing.

Winter Wins . . . Winter Wanes:

Cold is snapping,
Blizzards rapping;
Mem’ries fading,
Things mislaying.

Mounds snow-capping,
Trunks are sapping;
Bodies napping,
Bones are snapping.

Snowball throwing,
Drifts are blowing;
Pill prescribings,
Drugs imbibing.

Icebergs cracking,
Lumber-jacking;
Grandkids stopping,
Story-swapping.

Cold and snowing,
Temps yo-yo-ing;
Friends are dying,
Dates expiring.

Frigid mornings,
Snowstorm warnings;
Eyesight dimming,
Bladders brimming.

Snow is melting,
Icy peltings;
Teeth are rotting,
Skin is spotting.

Spring forthcoming,
Wakened numbings;
God reclaiming
And reframing.

Ashes to ashes
And dust to dust
We’re back where we started
New birth after death.

Beautifully crafted and structured. Loved so many stanzas I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. Just delightful and thoughtful.

You did such a beautiful job on this lovely poems. I can close my eyes and easily see each season.
