Summer’s innocence is gone and September’s dawned:
October’s fallen—like when sin quenches the heart of man;
Then November comes with a harvest of thanksgiving:
December’s light comes with repentance and singing!

Entombed in January’s snow like baptism in Jesus’ Name:
February’s fast—like when our sins are washed away;
Then we March forward together bearing The Revelation--
April’s alive like the Holy Ghost in us—we’re born again!

May’s flowers ignite the excitement of having Christ in us;
Soon June’s heat is here and we begin to grow and bless;
July’s storms tests us as we journey through the wilderness--
We hope and pray along the way for an August performance!

When we stand in the Holy City worshipping Jesus, the King of kings;
We will be thankful knowing He was with us through every season,

Through everything.

Beautiful poem. I liked how you went through each month. Very clever.
