They show you the starving,
the thirsty,
the dead.
Did anyone tell you of the Living Bread?

They show you the famous,
the kings,
the queens.
Did anyone tell you of Treasures Unseen?

They show you the death tolls,
the wars,
the police.
Did anyone tell you of the Prince of Peace?

They show you the gossip,
the scandals,
the taboos.
Did anyone tell you of the Good News?

They show you the issues,
the left,
the right.
Did anyone tell you of the Truth and the Life?

They show you the earthquakes,
the tornados,
the floods.
Did anyone tell you of the Cleansing Blood?

They show you the runways,
the fashions,
the trends.
Did anyone tell you of a Life Without End?

They show you the athletes,
the games,
the scores.
Did anyone tell you of our Mighty Lord?

So much information,
To where should you look?
Did anyone tell you of Godís Holy Book?

This is just beautiful. It reminds me of the hymn Were You There When They Crucified My Lord? I could see you easily turning this into a modern hymn.
