Good morning. I hope you're ready. You have a big day ahead of you, you know. The time has come.

It's time to prove that you are ready. That you were made for this. You've practiced and you've made it this far.

Don't look back now.

Forget all your past failures and losses. They were not failures, and they were not losses. You are not a failure and you are not a lost cause. Think of those times as obstacles that you have overcome. They didn't beat you then and they won't beat you now.

Today's a new day. A fresh start. A chance to prove to you, the critics, and the rest of the world that you are worthy.

All the preparations have been worth it. Yes, it's been hard at times. There have been times when you wanted to give up. But did you give up?

No.

You prevailed.

There were times when it hurt. But did you quit?

No.

You pushed through.

There were times when the critics said there was no way you'd make it here today. But did you believe it?

No.

You've been waiting for this day, and now it's yours.

Those other guys out there? They can't beat you down. You're stronger. You're tougher. Yeah, they may look bigger and tougher. You may be the underdog. But that doesn't mean you can't win.

Besides you have some secret weapons. You have confidence. You have endurance. You have the "it" factor. And you have the ultimate weapon. You have Jesus on your side.

I'm not saying the other side doesn't. But you know you do. And with Jesus on your side, no matter the outcome, you are still a winner.

So go out there and give it all you have. Because you really can't loose.

*****

And with that, I turned away from the mirror and headed out to my job interview.

This was so fitting with today's world of out of work people. This should be posted on every mirror of hopeful job seekers.
