Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; and in Thy book they were all written, even the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was none of them. Psalm 139:16 (ASV)
Oh Lord, how gracious You are to have thoughts of love for me before the foundation of the world.
To show Your mercy all the days of my life, even when I did not know You or rejected You.
You know my heart and its desires, may I always seek after Your direction. To rely on You. Walking not in darkness but in Your Light.
Magnificent is Your grace and forgiveness, Oh Lord, Your faithfulness satisfies me all day long.
My soul is nourishes as I dwell upon our Word. My nights are comforted by Your Spirit.
You promise to prosper me even through times of trials and I see more clearly the lessons of the valleys as You carry me to mountain tops.
In times of wishing death and to be with You, may I be reminded You have numbered my days and have drawn the plans, written in Your book.
Oh Lord, as the natural end of life’s days unroll as a scroll before me may I cherish each line You have written.
You, Oh Lord, the Author of all life, on that day, that final day when the books are opened, may my name be written in Your book of life!
And I will praise Your Name when we read Your Book of Remembrance together! (Malachi 3:16)
