When all earth ages ended,
And through the veil, The Great White Throne
In space appeared – suspended.
Around the throne an empty void,
For earth and sky had fled,
Then Hades vomited its souls,
The sea gave up her dead.
The small and great, before The Throne—
The resurrected dead,
Where each awaited destiny—
Eternity—ahead.
Each soul— alone, to give account,
No refuge, no façade.
The Hands they’d fallen into? –
Those of the Living God.
Their eyes affixed upon the throne
As record books were brought,
And each soul’s heart melted within—
Impending doom – distraught.
Books of their deeds done during life,
Their eyes bespoke their terror.
Their thoughts and each vile action—
Recorded – each one’s error.
Who was worthy— Who could read
Each word the books contained?
While they watched, there stood The Lamb
Appearing, as if slain.
They recognized him as the One,
Once dead, now resurrected.
In life— His name a curse word—
The One each soul rejected.
Then while they gazed the Lamb transformed,
Each soul sought to retreat.
His robe that clothed, was dipped in blood
It reached down to His feet.
And to this One, the Righteous Judge
In terror, their eyes raised.
His hair like snow, His feet like bronze,
Probed each with eyes that blazed.
To death and Hades, He held keys.
The name across His thigh –
“The KING of kings and LORD of lords,”
Was viewed by each soul’s eye.
His voice like rushing water,
When he commenced to read
The ledger scribed within the books—
A list of each soul’s deeds.
Then finally —The Lamb’s Book of Life –
Brought forth, and then unbound.
As each soul watched, The Reader searched
Each name though, nowhere found.
Then terror gripped, as each soul pled,
Heart-rending cries — too late!
They’d trampled God’s Son underfoot—
Had to accept their fate.
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.
The lake of fire is the second death.
If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life,
He was thrown into the lake of fire.

Note to The Reader:
This is a future event that will require your presence unless
you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior.
John 3:16-18 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned,
but whoever does not believe stands condemned already
because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
