In love I gave ten simple rules
More precious than the sum of jewels,
I asked for love in return
And tested you to help you learn.
To grow in faith, trust Me only,
My promises won’t leave you lonely.
I’ll clothe you in God-given grace
And guide your steps to win the race.
Know through prayer I hear your voice,
To follow Me, that is your choice.
When trials come, and yes, they will--
Remember each promise, I’ll fulfill.
Strength, comfort and so much more
Awaits your anchor at My shore.
I’ll help you with each weighty load,
I am He, the One foretold.
But there is one who’s like a snake,
His lies foster deadly mistakes.
He woos hearts through worldly pleasures,
Falsely teaching how to measure.
A time will come, it is for sure
The shallow ones will not endure;
But for each child whose heart is Mine,
These shall live beyond earth’s time.
Come to Me, love and obey,
Read My words, hear what I say.
Follow Me and don’t be late
Or you’ll be left outside My gate.
Sadly now, massive confusion,
Chaos came from their delusions.
Frantically searching everywhere
For those who met Christ in the air.
Aware now, the wrong committed,
Their love to God was not submitted.
Regretting what their sinning cost--
What have we done? Look what we lost!
