crossed the street avoiding
the orange cones
across the walkway.
He work an orange
shirt
tie
hat
and pumpkin colored
pants.
He chewed contentedly
on a carrot which
he ate constantly
giving his complexion
a warm
orange
tone.
He walked west
whistling a happy tune
as the sunset turned the
sky various hues of
orange.
Ireland was such
a beautiful place
and
he was so happy going
to meet the gang
at the
Order Of The
Orange.
He crossed another
street and entered
the Orange Lodge
house.
There on the wall
in an orange frame
was
a painting
of William of
Orange
dated 1609.
Our man sighed
happily
walked past the
dark wood bar
and entered the
back room where
everyone met
and, of course,
the walls were
painted
orange.
He smiled
even larger
and walked to
stand against
the back wall
not wanting to
stand out
in the crowd.
The meeting
finally over
they all rushed out
to the bar and ordered
their drinks.
Together
they raised their
glasses in a toast
and with a great shout emptied
their glass full of
(do I really need to tell you?)
Orange Juice!
