Like a fresh young green plant
pushing through pavement,
forgiveness extends an invitation
through the hardened soulís protectionist walls of defense.
Love conquers fear; life rises from death.

Like the first tinge of spring green
in a sea of sleepy deciduous trees,
the beginning of a smile through a veil of tears
reveals a hope that all is right in Him.
Love conquers fear; life rises from death.

Like the sea green foam
created by hurricane winds during a winter storm,
yearning for His presence frees all debris
to be washed up on the shore.
Love conquers fear; life rises from death.

Like rich filtered green light
shining on the floor of a rainforest,
His presence permeates the business of living
and breathes true life, hope, and peace to the soul.
Love conquers fear; life rises from death.

Like the dark green of a mighty spruce,
wavering not in conviction no matter the season,
tested faith does not falter in the valley
or high on the treacherous mountain side.
Love conquers fear; life rises from death.

A million shades of green
Each glorifying Your name
Love conquers every fear
Life rises out of death.

Nice entry!

May God bless.
