I LOVE YOU

Rest your breath here on my chest sweet autumn
Let me drink the colors of thy everlasting love
You alone can make me tremor
With all of loves sweet flames of ember

Sweet season of my youth
I must tell you the truth
My passion for you is alive with memories
From another place
Where the joys of autumn we could actually taste

Only your fires bring me to my knees
Thy sweet perfume churns inside my veins
I see your splendor from earth to shining sea
Let me take a sip down loverís lane

Listen for my call
Sweet lady of the fall
Behold, ďMy eyes must hold you, dearĒ
The best of all times are still near

We will drink of the sweet wine of life
To never thirst again
Letís soak it in our souls
While we watch the sunset of pure red ink
Just watch me lose control

Iím holding on to the silver lining
As you put on your evening shine
Shimmering shadows fall and bless me
Come on in and letís dine

Then

Early tomorrow morning,
I will meet you in yon meadow
Where yellow cones and daisies bloom forever
I know youíll wear the dress of orange, brown, gold and yellow?

I will spread a picnic luncheon
Bless the ground with a checkered cloth
Weíll eat Pumpkin pie and apple tart
Grandma made the nectar
Sweet tea of the apricot

I have a secret in my heart
I have a question I must ask
Let me be that part of you
Where we will never have to part

As the sun escapes the mountain
Along about the hour of noon
I have the ring in my pocket
Please my darling autumn, let me be your groom

My sweet honey of the golden leaves
Of all seasons, you do rule
Now, may I please have a little kiss?
My lips are sweet with melon dew

Ours is the greatest of all romance
For you are filled with hues of grace
No spring, summer or winter
Will ever take your place

You are alive in me, sweet heart
No one could love you like I do
As long as breath is in my body
I will keep on loving you

So letís love the hours of the day away
The lullaby whisper of the gentle wind
Will escalate into a lovers dream
This ecstasy will never end

Here in my arms you feel so nice
We must remember that harvest time will come
The golden moon will rise
And we will fly away home

Cheek to cheek we will soar
Into the mountain of the Son
Where autumn blooms forever
And love is always in full bloom

This poem sounds a lot like the Song of Solomon. Very passionate, yet tender.
