"Extra! Extra! - Read All About It! -
"Contrary to what many people think, Angels DO exist! In fact, they're right here in Birmingham. I know this because last Friday, July 10, 2009, I met one face to face.
"She knocked on my door around 5:30 PM, Earth time, to return my purse that I'd lost earlier in the day on the City Bus.. My money, house keys, drivers license, credit cards, social security card and even my postage stamps were completely intact! Nothing missing! I knew instantly this was an Angel on loan from Heaven! An Angel in disguise.
"I don't know her Earth name, but where else but in "The Newspaper" can I try to thank this wonderful City Bus driver, who took the time after work to stop and look me up and knock on my door to return my property, while refusing to take anything in return for her honesty, kindness and consideration! She HAS to be one in a million - especially in these days.
"She also stated there was a man who found my purse on the bus and gave it to her. I don't know either of their names, but they both have renewed my faith in my fellow human being...and they were an answer to my most fervent prayers.
God Bless them both, and hopefully they will read this letter and accept my grateful "Thanks"

The above Letter was published in the Op/Ed Section of the newspaper today, and I can vouch that this is indeed a True Story....as I am the writer.
"What does this have to do with Summer?" - you ask.
Well, to me.... it was Christmas in July! Or Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years all wrapped up in one big miracle package, and delivered to me on a silver platter by an Angel.
It's a day I'll never forget; my own personal Christmas in July. July 10, 2009 to be exact!
