So Elkanah her husband said to her, "Do what seems best to you; wait until you have weaned him. Only let the LORD establish His word." Then the woman stayed and nursed her son until she had weaned him.
Oh how parents, family members, or friends want the best for a person they give counsel to. At times people must let go and let God establish His word. Yes, it's difficult seeing a loved one out and about walking through life. The greatest gift we can give is a Daily Walk Bible. Allowing God to speak to them is the greatest love we can give to a person. They might hit a few bumpy roads, but as long as they keep looking to Jesus, they will be fine.
Please don't hinder, cripple, or paralyze your loved one with anxiety, fear, or your carnal thinking. Allow God to speak and when He does, we shall carry such great boldness, courage, and unshakable faith like never before through obstacles, tribulations, and battles of life. Life is full battles, you might as well have God on your side, because the closest people near you will disappoint you. Which is OK because why curse yourself (Jeremiah 17:5-8) by depending on them verses being ever so blessed with trusting in the name of El Elyon - God Most High!
This Christmas, give the gift of a Daily Walk Bible.
We are the beloved of God!
Psalm 127:2 (NKJV)
It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.
