Each day I rose anticipating the day of my Bridegrooms arrival. I would wash my hair with sweet spices and cover my body with fragrant oils, hoping to please Him as I laid my eyes upon Him. I had not met my Beloved, He had been chosen for me by my Father, as many Prince and Princesses had been chosen in the past, but I knew in my heart that I loved Him with a precious love beyond any I had ever known.

Each morning I would don my pure white raiment and walk to the crest of the hill with the many guests who had been invited to the wedding, hoping that this would be the day He would come.

On that special day the sun began to rise on the distant horizon, and as I searched for Him, the breeze was blowing gently when I saw His white steed come galloping up over the hill. My heart swelled within me and a loud roar of adoration could be heard from the millions waiting as we met the King of Kings who had come to set up His United Kingdom.

Good story, but think this writing could be expanded a bit to give the reader a fuller understanding of your Prince--the King of Kings.

Oooh, definitely expand this--a beautiful allegory based on Scripture.

I'm afraid it might be "off topic" for this geographical theme--it was supposed to be the UK on the map, not a spiritual kingdom.

Nevertheless, your passionate heart for the ultimate united kingdom was very apparent!

The bride waiting for her groom. How romantic this is. Expand please, I'd love to read more.
