Genesis 15:6 (NIV)
Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
Genesis 50:20 (NIV)
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
There are many times each day I make mistakes and I see myself always repenting. I feel the Lord will punish me somehow and some way, because I know I will reap what I sow. But actually there is more God is doing in my life than I ever imagined. God continues to bless me and open up opportunities for me to share His Word with other people and in the same time frame do many great things like for example....there was a speeding ticket I got 5 months ago and I pleaded not guilty because I was within 8 miles above the speed limit when I saw the police car. The officer said I was doing 48 in a 25 speed zone. Long story short...May 3, 2000 I went to the wrong court house and ended up in the felony section sharing the gospel with three people...hopefully bringing them to salvation. I should have went to the traffic section, but God orchestrated me to be in the wrong place and bring these people to salvation. And as a result with my speeding ticket, it all was dismissed. (what I might see as the wrong place and time, God made it the right place and time.)
Genesis 15:6 as I believed in Jesus, He credited me as righteousness. And Genesis 50:20, what the police officer intended to harm me with the $178.50 traffic ticket and 5 points on my record (which was dismissed), God intended it for GOOD (bringing people to salvation). I am so thankful each day what God is doing, despite all that might happen in life, He is always in control and His plan is the best as we humble ourselves seek His Word.
Finally, I went to one person's home who I met in court who had a domestic abuse charge and blessed him with a Bible and my sermon I had on video on "Hope". And will see him every two weeks and pray God does miracles in his life. You see, the Lord fights for me and you, we needed only to be still...
Exodus 14:14 (NIV)
The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Psalms 46:10 (KJV)
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
