Shekinah glory shining so bright,
Filling the temple, pillar by night.
Secure with God’s presence leading the way,
Guiding them, leading them day by day.
Do not fear,
Our God is near.
Immanuel,
With us to dwell.
O, weary hearts, crying “How long?”
Be of good courage, only be strong.
Lift up your eyes, each man and nation,
Behold your Messiah, bringing salvation.
Do not fear,
Our God is near.
Immanuel,
With us to dwell.
Sing “Glory to God,” ye angels on high,
Wonder of wonders, God is nigh!
Born of a woman, Christ came to earth;
Almighty joined Adam in holy birth.
Do not fear,
Our God is near.
Immanuel,
With us to dwell.
Though evil grows, and faith be spurned,
We lift our prayers for His return.
Steadfast and faithful, rejoice and sing,
“Hosanna! Hosanna! to Jesus our King!”
Do not fear,
Our God is near.
Immanuel,
With us to dwell.
