Hide and Seek
Will I

With tenderness and grace my reality I embrace. The mask peeled away as I begin to seek the truth. “Another day, will I?”
I gaze upon a life, her beauty, character, pain, sorrows, joy, tears, her lifetime of living. A flame that burns, her body tells her story, her age reveals her essence. Will she enter the Narrow Door; a new hopes born? A desire to seek his love.
Behind my mask I hide, yet walk into the secret places. Will I do your will today, show love your way, will I ….my day began in his space. My household comes alive little ones that spend our energy, teenagers test our will, will we make it through.
To seek means to strive as he peels the mask in the moments away he reveals, God has faith in me, “I sanctified thee” Jeremiah 1:5 I will make it.

You've presented a clear challenge to seek reality and not hide from life. Your writing would be showcased better with spaces between paragraphs.

This is a very deep piece. This got me thinking.

You have expressed the feelings very well. I particularly like the self examination, 'Will I do your will today, show love your way, will I ….' Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
