The mind is a terrible thing,
The mind is our greatest tool,
The mind is a terrible thing to waste,
The mind is the busiest traffic jam in our lives,
How true and unfortunate all this is.

We seek and long for a deep sense of quiteness,
Where all the cabinets in our heads are files in correctly,
Where we are at peace with God and ourselves,
Yet, everytime we attempt to find that peace,
Thoughts of problems and concerns about ourselves and others come to mind,
And, we forget that worry adds no value to our lives.

God said, "There is a narrow road!"
The road where all can be put aside,
Where the mind is still and focused on the Lord,
Where to think is the greatest power on earth.

Yet, the trouble with our lives today is lack of focus,
Lack of concerntration on what matters most of all,
To concerntrate and focus on God the author and finisher of our faith,
To concerntrate steadily on the source of power,
Taking time to pray, tune on a divine channel,
In order to detox the troubles of the world,
And, find that peace.

Lack of concerntration results in chaos,
A traveller through earth lacking focus,
Choosing the other road that we are so warned about,
"A wide road where everyone is at, with no sense of direction."

The narrow mind, focused like Christ is the most powerful tool on earth,
Concerntrating on the most relevent things on earth, things eternal.
That is to find God, fulfil your purpose, love others as you would love to be loved.

We need to make time for concentrating on God. Quiet time, without the world's distractions. Good story, and something to keep in mind. Thanks.
