Mind Set

Total concentration toward God is called God Conscience
God is my resting place, my peace, my love
My sunshine, my rain
My flower in the spring
My all, my everything

Each day as I awake, I will concentrate
My lips will ready for praise
No rocks will ever
Cry out in my place

As the morning light peeks over the horizon
And my eyes open to a brand new day
I will thank my Jesus, my love, my life
For allowing me to spend another day on earth
I will say:

“Good morning, my Lord, my Savior, my Friend
I love you my Lord
I turn this day over to you, My Lord
With you guarding my day
Whom can I fear?
No one, no, not one
Only He who holds the key to the setting sun".

I will worship the God of my salvation
Though I sleep, I will participate
My dreams will be fully set
On this wonderful God that I appreciate

The Holy Ghost power is my guide
He lets me hear the calming voice of God
He will never leave me or forsake me
He will stay close by my side

If we love Christ like we say we do then
It becomes our Christian responsibility to concentrate on things that
are pure, noble, just, lovely, of good report, praiseworthy, and honest.
It must be our choice; no less will cause us to sin

Character and attitude depends on what our minds are being fed
Action sometimes follows thought
We must remember that we are bought
By a great price
The blood of Jesus Christ

Isaiah 26 verse 3:

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

I had to read this a few times to get the meter quite right, but I love the words and the meaning. It's a great reminder for us all!

Good thoughts of keeping our minds on God. Nice job.
