until you have it be a boat
and a chair is just a chair
until you make it start to float
then the couch and the chair
with a certain kind of flair
down the river start to rattle
with an umbrella for a paddle
a boy is just a boy
until you have him be a king
and a girl is just a girl
until her shoulder sprouts a wing
then the boy and the girl
with a swoop and a whirl
make the kitchen start to seem
like a castle by a stream
A stair is just a stair
until the lava starts to flow
and a hall is just a hall
until the walls begin to glow
then the stair and the hall
with an eerie-sounding call
start to rattle and to shake
with a spooky kind of quake
a house is just a house
until you fill it up with fun
then a house is just a portal
where adventure has begun!
